FAST National Solutions Convention ends

National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, FAST, three-day flagship event titled NaSCon (National Solutions Convention) concludes here, says a press release.
The student-run event with 51 sub-events related to business management, computer sciences, engineering and socials and sports, successfully catered over 4,000 participants from all across Pakistan.
“For us NaSCon is a platform where we practically implement all what we learn in our academic life,” Junaid Javed, President of NaSCon 2016 said. “This will help us become better managers when we’ll enter the job market,” he added.
The event began with an opening ceremony which was completely dominated by the special performances of traditional Chitrali and Khattak dances along with the brass band. The other highlights of the event include, ‘The Last Sin’ — a theater play; Mushaira by the well-known poets including Anwar Masood, Khalid Masood and Ali Zariyon; gaming, scavenger hunt, cultural show and a concert of Asrar Shah.
The event was wrapped up with a closing ceremony in which participants were awarded shields and participatory certificates. However, the winners of the event were additionally given the prize money worth Rs1.5 million, as a gesture of appreciation and motivation.
The participants found NaSCon to be a good learning and fun experience which, according to them, will surely remain in their hearts and minds for quite a long time.
