PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council on Saturday alleged that the delimitation of the constituencies was carried out in a manner to benefit a particular political party.
In a statement, KP Bar Council Chairman Zar Badshah said that the delimitation was carried out against the provisions of the constitution.
He said though posting and transfer was banned following the issuance of schedule for the February 8 general election, the practice was going on unchecked, adding that this would lead to objections to the electoral process. He asked the Election Commission of Pakistan to clarify its position regarding the posting and transfer of officials.
