105 PTI workers get BBA
MARDAN: Additional District and Session Judge (ADSJ) Asim Riaz here on Saturday confirmed bail before arrest (BBA) of 105 workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for holding workers’ convention at the residence of former MNA Iftikhar Ali Mashwani.
Azhar Rahim Advocate, Saeed Usman Advocate and Jawad Khan Advocate represented the PTI workers in the court.
After hearing arguments from both sides, the ADSJ confirmed the BBA of 105 PTI workers. The PTI workers, whose bail applications were accepted, also included former lawmakers Iftikhar Ali Mashwani, Abdus Salam Afridi, Tufail Anjum, Farooq Khan, Haris Khan Toru, Riaz Paindakhel Advocate, Amir Ejaz Khan Advocate, Faisal Anwar Advocate and others.
It may be noted that the PTI held a workers’ convention on December 1 in Takht Bhai at the residence of former MPA Iftikhar Ali Mashwani.
The officials of Jabbar Police Station had registered the first information report against 105 PTI leaders, lawyers and workers under sections 341,188,189,147 and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
