Some of our news channels function as the partisan messaging arms of their favoured political party or parties. This comes at the cost of the people, who do not get an accurate, unbiased view of current affairs.
The duty of news channels is to convey correct information to the public and then let them decide who is right or wrong. This means remaining politically neutral, as much as possible.
