Islamabad:Candidates of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Thursday filed their nomination papers from all three constituencies of National Assembly from the federal capital.
Ex MNA and central naib ameer of JI Mian Muhammad Aslam will contest February 08 elections from NA-46, leader of traders community and social personality Muhammad Kashif Chaudhry from NA-47 and Malik Abdul Aziz from NA-48 Islamabad.
All three accompanied by JI Islamabad ameer Nasarullah Randhawa and a large number party workers arrived at office of the Returning Officer to file their nomination papers. Talking to media, Mian Aslam said that along with resolving other issues, he would also endeavour for a main hospital in NA-46 which is deprived of standard medical facilities. "If we are succeeded in elections, we will resume journey of development in Islamabad," he said.
Kashif Chaudhry said that he would focus on provision of basic facilities like health, education, safe drinking water and cleanliness to all residents of his constituency. Malik Abdul Aziz said that his top priority would be to benefit people with the local government which is the only solution to end 70 years deprivation of people.
