AC calls arguments on jurisdiction in Park Lane case

ISLAMABAD: The Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir has called arguments on judicial jurisdiction in the Park Lane reference case against former president Asif Ali Zardari and others.

During the hearing, lawyer Safai Arshad Tabriz on behalf of Zardari and NAB prosecutor Sohail Arif appeared in court. 

Safai said that the hearing of this reference cannot be held here. He said that Parthi Lane Company took loan from the bank, this case will go to the banking court to issue final orders. Various cases were referred by lawyer Safai in this regard.

The judge remarked that the court will call arguments, then it will decide the judicial jurisdiction of case.
