Political parties urged to protect workers' rights

LAHORE:All political parties of the country have been urged to work for the rights of workers and incorporate issues of workers in their election manifesto.

Workers leader Khurshid Ahmad in a statement on Wednesday said that all major political parties of the country should play an effective role for the welfare of working class.

He demanded to give workers due representation in the law making bodies. He also demanded that public sector organisations like water, power and Sui gas etc should not be privatised.
