LAHORE
Lahore Transport Company has commenced drivers’ training refresher course for low occupancy vehicle (Wagons) operators that will be beneficial for general public and would lead towards maintaining urban transport discipline management in Lahore.
The drivers are being educated and guided by officials of operations and enforcement department of LTC under the supervision of Motor Mobile Patrolling Inspectors (MMPIs).
The training will focus on the proper observance of traffic rules and regulations particularly their conduct with commuters on the roads, driving safety measures about appropriately running and halting of vehicles at proper places (stops), courteous conduct with passengers, observance of traffic signals, sign boards, plying of vehicles on designated route, necessary documents including route permit and fitness certificate to drive the vehicle, changing of lanes, intersections apart from this before running the vehicles the doors must be locked properly and to maintain distance from other vehicles on the road is also included in the training session.
Lahore Transport Company has an objective of imparting training to the drivers in order to make them responsible citizen of society and this refresher course containing drivers training program will remain continue at different locations of the city.
