MULTAN: Former Member of the National Assembly and close aide to ex-Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Mian Sajid Parvez, has announced plans to write a book based on Pakistani politics and the time spent with him.
Mian Sajid Pervez, a well-known politician from Multan and a close associate of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, told the media that the Supreme Court should also call him to know the facts about his judicial murder. “Unfortunately, political parties in the country are not playing their real role due to which power could not be transferred to people.
If political parties fulfill their responsibilities according to the Constitution, Pakistan will be stable and people prosperous. It is an achievement of Bhutto that today candidates go to the door of voters,” he added. He maintained, “Politics and debates were limited to drawing rooms and the decisions of the destiny of the country were made behind closed rooms before the induction of Bhutho’s philosophy of mass rule. There are benefactors of classes but also of the world of Islam whose sacrifices will always be remembered. The Pakistan Peoples Party has been getting votes in the name of Bhutto for more than five decades but neither these people are the real heirs to Bhutto neither he could get justice.”
