Islamabad : Director General Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Mohsin Hassan Butt, inaugurated the updated version of the Case Management System (CMS) in a ceremony held today at FIA headquarter, Islamabad.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of top officials including all ADGs and Directors, while Zonal Directors participated remotely through Zoom. ADG ACW Basharat Mahmood Shahzad took the opportunity to brief DG FIA Mohsin Hassan Butt on the new features and functionalities of the updated Case Management System.
The updated CMS incorporates advanced encryption and hashing techniques, guaranteeing top-tier data protection in compliance with the highest security standards. By eliminating record duplication, it boosts database performance, elevating overall data management efficiency especially searching criminals record. Additionally, the system encourages data reusability, enabling efficient reporting system, utilization of existing information for various purposes and optimizing resource utilization.
Director General FIA lauded the dedicated efforts of the FIA CMS team, led by Addl. Director General (ACW) Basharat M. Shahzad . The commendable team includes Arslan Mehmmod Wattoo - DD, Noman Ahmad Khan - AD, Ahsan Ahmad - AD, Hussain Ali Mughal - AD, Tayyaba Farooq - Inspector, Ammar Mazhar - Inspector, Majid Mehmood- SI and Muhammad Usman Ghani (TA). Their pivotal roles were instrumental in the successful development of the updated CMS.
