BATKHELA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Parliamentarians (PTIP) Chairman Pervez Khattak on Friday alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) former Chairman Imran Khan did not give funds to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for uplift projects.
Addressing a gathering, he said that he executed uplift projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa when he was the chief minister.
Former chief minister Mahmood Khan, and provincial assembly constituency candidate for PK-23 Ikramullah Khan and candidate for national assembly constituency NA-9 Zeeshan Khan and others were present. Pervez Khattak said that whenever he talked to Imran Khan about the release of funds for the uplift projects, he would say KP did not need any development.
He alleged that Imran Khan had stopped the provision of funds to KP for uplift projects. Pervez Khattak said that he served the people of KP when he was the federal minister. Imran Khan did not teach good manners to his workers, he said adding the PTI head acted like a pharaoh and did not shake hands with party lawmakers. Pervez Khattak said that Imran Khan needed only those people who were good at calling names to his opponents. All the political leaders, including Arif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rahman were disloyal to the people and they wanted to reach the corridors of power, he claimed. Pervez Khattak said that he was the only clean politician who did not face any corruption case.
