Unenviable task

The most difficult challenge that awaits the next government is the economic one. Currently, the country is going through great economic difficulty and the foremost task of the coming government will be to counteract this situation. It is most likely that Pakistan will have no choice but to go to the IMF for a bailout once again.
This would only exacerbate the people’s woes as it would likely lead to more price hikes and austerity. Therefore, it is imperative for any party intent on holding the reins of the country to be as well prepared as possible for handling this herculean task and providing the people with some much-needed relief.
