The police revealed that the arrested dacoits provided crucial information during the investigation.

The gang's modus operandi involved robbing citizens withdrawing money from banks. The accomplice, Shahid, conducted reconnaissance by sitting in a bank and informing

the gang members outside about the citizens' activities. Aman, the gang leader, was also involved in importing goods with his accomplices and participated in activities related to residences.

The police disclosed that the gang members used coded language over phone calls, referring to a pistol as a card, an office as a bank, and the target as a bird (morgha). Recently, the culprits targeted citizens withdrawing money from banks in the Clifton area and also victimised vegetable vendors in the Korangi area.

The criminals operated primarily in the Korangi and Landhi areas and had a history of multiple incarcerations. After their release from jail, the suspects formed a new group consisting of young boys. In addition to street crime, the arrested criminals were also involved in numerous bank robberies. Weapons, a stolen motorcycle from the Landhi police station, and a mobile phone were recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects.
