Students visit traffic headquarters

Rawalpindi:The universities male and female students as ' Friends of Police' visited traffic headquarters of Rawalpindi Police at Race Course here on Thursday.
The visit was part of Community Policing Programme as introduced by Inspector General of Police all over the province. On directives of Chief Traffic Officer, the students were briefed by Senior Traffic Officer Munir Ahmad Hashmi on initiatives like online state of the art licensing system and measures taken for road safety.
The students also participated in live broadcast of FM 88.6 and expressed their views. The Friends of Police Programme would help in strengthening relationship between police and masses.
