In the summary sent by Chairman Sindh Higher Education Commission Dr Tariq Rafi and Secretary Boards and Universities Department Noor Muhammad Samu, two suggestions were given to the caretaker chief minister that either Dr Akbar Zaidi should be given one more tenure or advertisement for the appointment of a new executive director should be approved.
After approving the first suggestion of the summary, the CM has extended the tenure of Dr Akbar Zaidi for another four years; however, the formal notification of his appointment will be issued after the approval of the Election Commission.
