Man crushed to death

MANSEHRA: An employee of tehsil municipal administration, Baffa-Pakhal, was crushed to death by a speeding truck here on Tuesday.

Ashfaq Shah was crossing Karakoram Highway near Commerce College when a speeding truck crushed him to death. Rescue 1122 personnel rushed to the scene and shifted him to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

Meanwhile, traffic police have launched a crackdown against underage drivers in the city and its suburbs. According to police, over a dozen underage bikers and motorists were fined and warned of strict punitive action if they indulged in driving again without attaining licensing age.
