KARACHI: Pakistan women team’s former coach and head coach UBL cricket team Umer Rashid inaugurated the Nazimabad Eidgah cricket academy at Eidgah ground the other day.
The academy has been set up by administrator Shazeb Ali with the support of SMS for the youngsters of Karachi. It will function three days a week from 4pm to 6:30pm. Umer said on the occasion that Pakistan in general and Karachi in particular had a lot of talent. “The only thing which we lack is grooming the raw talent. I hope the organiser will provide maximum facilities to the youngsters and they will improve their skills and mental approach,” he said.
