This refers to the letter, ‘Impatient Imran’ (April 17) by Dr Najeeb A Khan. Many agree with the writer that Imran Khan is impatient in that he wants to overthrow the government by hook or by crook; however, his impatience is not without fault.
We have seen that allegations of such a nature have led to the resignations of many top government officials – including prime ministers and ministers. Thus impartial inquiries are being initiated against the accused. Offshore companies are nothing but a tool to hide illegal money. For accountability to be seen as impartial, the prime minister should resign. Moreover, the assets that have not been declared should be confiscated irrespective of party involved in the scam.
