Mega operation conducted against encroachments

LAHORE : TEPA and Town Planning Wing of LDA conducted a mega operation against encroachments on parking sites around Ali Zaib Road and Firdous Market on Saturday.

The operation was carried out on the directions of Commissioner Lahore/LDA DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa. In a 3-hour long operation, encroachments were removed from the commercial properties on the streets around Ali Zaib Road and Firdous Market. 

Five shops were sealed for encroaching on the parking space in Firdous Market while various encroachments were removed from the shops established around Firdous Market.

During the operation, the office in the parking area of Square One Mall was sealed. The canteen and office in the parking area of Al Hafeez Business Centre Plaza were sealed.

Several private offices including laundry shop, offices and stores located in the parking area of a private hotel located on Ali Zaib Road were sealed for violating parking rules.

Several notices were issued to these properties for corrective measures before the operation.

Director Parking and Enforcement TEPA, Director Private Housing Scheme Department, Deputy Director PHS, Deputy Director Town Planning, Enforcement Wing and officers of TEPA participated in the operation. Police and heavy machinery also participated in the operation.
