ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday issued a notification for the winter vacation starting from Monday (December 18).
“Under Rule 5 of Order II, Supreme Court Rules, 1980, the chief justice of Pakistan is pleased to fix Monday (December 18, 2023) as the date from which the winter holidays of the court shall commence,” says the notification issued by the assistant registrar on behalf of the SC registrar.
The notification stated the court would reopen on Monday (January 1). However, the offices of the court would remain open, except on public holidays, and urgent cases, dates for court cases and criminal cases would be fixed before available benches.

Court further directed that after transfer of the money, the account should be closed
