Rs1.2 million released for cops’ treatment
LAHORE:IG Punjab released funds amounting to Rs1.2 million for medical treatment of 10 officials. ASI Raja Shahid Mehmood of Rawalpindi was given Rs250,000 for the treatment of his wife.
Constable Muhammad Saeed was given Rs250,000 for the treatment of his wife's liver. Sub-inspector Muhammad Anwar was given Rs2 lakh for open heart surgery. Faisalabad constable Sajid Mehmoodul Hasan was given Rs1 lakh for the treatment of heart disease.
Tele Transport Punjab constable Sarwar Ahmed was given Rs1 lakh for the treatment of his leg. Inspector Amanat Ali, Head Constable Qayyum Ali, and Constable Barkat Aslam were given 70,000 each for medical treatment. Head Constable Muhammad Tahir and Constable Muhammad Farooq Anwar were given Rs50,000 each for the treatment of their daughters.
