US consul general visits Child Protection Bureau

LAHORE: United States Consul General in Lahore Kirstin K Hawkins on Tuesday visited the Child Protection Bureau (CPB).
CPB Chairperson Sarah Ahmad welcomed the guest and gave her a briefing on the bureau working. She presented an overview of different initiatives taken for the protection and welfare of children.
Hawkins toured various sections of the bureau including the children's hostel. She engaged with the residing children. She visited the Bake shop, stitching classes, music classes and computer lab. She appreciated the efforts and initiatives taken by Sarah Ahmad for the welfare of children.
In attendance were Director General Aftab Ahmad Khan, Director Program Hasnain Khalid, Director Admin Kashif Jalil and others.
