Policeman killed, Rangers personnel injured in dacoits’ attack

SUKKUR: A policeman was killed while three law enforcement agencies personnel injured in dacoits’ attack at Kashmore.
Police sources said the outlaws fired at police and Rangers’ vehicles patrolling near Rao stop of Bakhshapur in district Kashmore.
Mir Muhammad, Rafiq Fazul and Usman Ali were injured in the attack while policeman Khalid Hussain Abro succumbed to his injuries.
Rangers and police retaliated the attack but the dacoits managed to escape away. Police sources claimed said that in the retaliatory firing of police and Rangers, the dacoits were also injured. Police and Rangers are pursuing the criminals in the riverine area of Ghihalpur, Kashmore.
