ISLAMABAD: Appointments and transfers have been made in the federal bureaucracy.
Former secretary to the President’s House Waqar Ahmed has been posted as Secretary National Security Division. Waqar Ahmed, a Grade 22 officer of the Secretariat Group, was an OSD in the Establishment Division.
The post was vacant after the retirement of National Security Division Secretary Aamir Hasan on December 3.
Meanwhile, the prime minister has appointed Aamir Hasan as member the Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission immediately after retirement. He has been appointed on contract for 2 years. He will take charge as a member of the Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission on December 12. Extension of two years has been granted in the appointment of Grade 18 radiologist Dr. Samira of Sindh Health Department on deputation in Islamabad.
Dr. Bashria Ashraf, a Grade 17 officer of the Balochistan Health Department, who is posted in Polyclinic Hospital, Islamabad, on deputation, has been transferred and posted in PIMS Hospital. The Establishment Division has issued an official notification of these appointments.
