These operations were strategically targeting areas around schools, colleges and various public places. A noteworthy highlight was the transformation of all open plots in Nishtar Town into zero-waste zones.
Under the efficient management of LWMC, waste containers across the city were being cleared by 9 AM daily, ensuring a prompt and effective waste disposal system. According to LWMC spokesperson there was an active presence of LWMC officers in the field, closely monitoring the ongoing cleaning operations.
The deputy CEOs extended their oversight to various locations, including Main Ferozepur Road, Chungi Amarsadhu, Kamahan, Gujjumata, Madar-e-Millat Road, Green Town, and Bagrian.
Fahad issued special directives to ensure the cleaning and washing of pedestrian bridges on main Ferozepur Road. Furthermore, manual scraping activities are being undertaken across all Lahore towns to reduce the harmful effects of smog.
