Pakistan is blessed with abundant geological resources but, sadly, water is not one of them. Experts have already warned that the country will face severe water scarcity by 2025 and absolute water scarcity by 2040.
Our fertile land will gradually turn into a desert. The stakes are too high for us to procrastinate and delay action on water conservation measures.
We must reject the conventional approaches to water management and move towards innovative solutions to avert calamity and ensure water for our future generations.
