Governor urges students to imbibe high moral values
LAHORE: Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman met the children of SOS Children’s Village at Governor House Lahore on Sunday.
Talking to reporters, the governor said children are our future. He appreciated the efforts of the management and entire team of SOS Children Village for taking good care of the kids.He urged the children to imbibe high moral values and achieve excellence in life. He said character-building is also very important along with getting education.
He said good character enables one to achieve success in life and hereafter. Appreciating the administration of SOS Children’s Village, the governor said institutions like SOS Children’s Village are doing a good job by providing good care, education, and training to the children who are orphans.He said SOS Children’s Village is rendering a great service to society by imparting education and training to the students to make them useful members of society. He emphasized that we should collectively contribute to the welfare of such children to make them responsible citizens of society.
