Mini theater facility for Punjab Complex members
LAHORE : The Seasonal Membership of Punjab International Swimming Complex in Nishtar Park has been commenced and after membership, the members will be eligible to utilize facilities like mini theater, boardroom and executive lounge.
DG Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail in a statement on Tuesday said that definitely it is a big step to involve the public sector in state-of-the-art facilities of Sports Board Punjab. “Besides providing quality entertainment to people of different age groups, this initiative will help a lot in tracing several talented male and female swimmers,” he added.
Sharing more details of Seasonal Membership, Dr Asif Tufail informed that the duration of winter season swimming session will be from November 1 to February while the summer season swimming session will run from May 1 to August.
He said that the registration fees per swimming season will be Rs 10,000 while the monthly fee for winter season swimming session will be Rs 20,000 and summer season will be Rs 15,000. “Separate temperature controlled swimming pools have been arranged for male and female swimmers”, he elaborated. Dr Asif further informed that Punjab Swimming Complex has also been equipped with facilities such as separate gymnasiums for men and women, snooker, chess and carom room and kids room.
