ISLAMABAD: Officers were appointed and transferred in the federal bureaucracy on Friday.
Postal Group Grade 21 officer and Additional Director General (A&F) Pakistan Post Office Department Samiullah Khan has been immediately given the additional charge of Director General Pakistan Post Office Department. Additional Director General Hafiz Shakeel Ahmed Qureshi was holding the post. Samiullah Khan assumed the duties of Director General on Friday immediately after the notification of the Ministry of Communication.
Aminullah Khan of Secretariat Group Grade 19 (acting charge) posted in Investment Board has been appointed Deputy Secretary Establishment Division. Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service Grade 19 officer Khadim Abbas has been posted as Director Audit, DG Audit Railways, Lahore. Waseem Afzal Waraich, Director State, Workers Welfare Fund, has been given the additional charge of Director Media.
Director Coordination Wasim Sabir has been transferred and directed to report to HR. He had differences with DG E&M Khalid Nawaz Ramay.
The E&M cadre officers had given a written request to the CDA chairman that Khalid Nawaz belongs to the civil engineering cadre while the post belongs to the E&M cadre. Notifications of the transfers and postings have been issued.
