LAHORE:In a spectacular celebration of cultural diversity, Alhamra Arts Centre became the vibrant canvas for the mesmerising tapestry of Gilgit-Baltistan during an enchanting cultural showcase.
Supported by Alhamra and Pakeeza Arts Council GB, the event illuminated the multifaceted heritage of the region, leaving attendees spellbound.
The event began with a performance by Gloor, a local desi band, orchestrating a special tune programme. Their renditions of folk songs in Sheena, Balti, Khowar, Brushki, and Vakhi languages painted a vivid picture of Gilgit's essence, creating an enchanting musical odyssey. Enhancing the grandeur of the evening was Arifana Kalam presented in Urdu.
