University of Central Punjab win Inter University Table Tennis C’ship

SUKKUR: The University of Central Punjab defeated Bahawalpur’s Islamia University to win the All Pakistan Inter University Table Tennis (Men) Championship, while Lahore’s Superior University secured the third position.

The All Pakistan Inter University Table Tennis (Men) Championship was organised by the Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, in collaboration with Higher Education Commission, Islamabad.

Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, VC, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, presided over the concluding ceremony while Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Mari, VC, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam, was the chief guest. Talking to the participants, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said sports activism is very essential in the academic institution to foster the sense of competition.
