Increased loadshedding irks citizens

GUJRANWALA: Unannounced power loadshedding has increased as temperature starts to rise.
Locals of different localities complained of unscheduled and excessive loadshedding.
They said the loadshedding has badly affected routine of their life. They urged relevant quarters to look into the matter.
CORRUPTION CASES: Director Anti-Corruption Establishment, Gujranwala, Rana Abdul Shakoor Saturday issued orders of registration of cases and arrest orders of five government officials on charges of corruption and misuse of power.
Citizens submitted applications with the Anti-Corruption Department against Muhammad Bashir, union council secretary, Muhammad Imran, union council secretary, Amir Nawaz, patwari, Muhammad Boota, sub-inspector of police, and Ahsanullah, ASI of police for corruption and misuse of powers. Allegations leveled against them were found true in enquiries.
TWO HELD FOR SCUFFLE IN COURT: Police arrested two people for scuffling on the court premises on Saturday.
Reportedly, Zulqarnain, murder accused and his relative Rizwan exchanged harsh words and thrashing each other in the court. The court staff held them and handed them over to Civil Lines police.
PO HELD: An FIA team Saturday arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) from Wahndo, Gujranwala. Reportedly, accused Muhammad Ayub was wanted by FIA police in two different cases.
