Compensation cheques distributed in SWA

WANA: The political administration on Saturday distributed compensation cheques among those whose properties had been damaged in militancy and military operations in Chagmalai area in South Waziristan Agency.

Political Officer Sarwakai Muhammad Shoaib Khan distributed the compensation cheques among the beneficiaries during a ceremony held here.

He distributed Rs65 million among 169 affectees.

The owners whose structures had been destroyed in the militancy and military operation Rah-e-Nijat were given Rs0.4 million cheques while Rs160,000 were given to the owners whose houses damaged partially.
