National Moot Court Competition arranged
PESHAWAR: Law students from various institutions across the country participated in the first ‘National Moot Court Competition’ at Edwardes College Peshawar.
The competition is actually a mock court at which law students argue imaginary cases for practice in the presence of faculty and representatives from the legal fraternity. Teams were from reputed institutions from across the country including Dennig Law School, Karachi, University of Faisalabad, University Law College, Punjab University Lahore, University of Malakand, Superior College of Law, Lahore, International Islamic University Islamabad, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Upper Dir, and National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad.
From Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, representatives from Islamia College University Peshawar, Jinnah Law College, Islamia Law College, New Islamia Law College, University of Swabi, and KP Institute of Legal Studies attended the competition.
The event comprised of multiple rounds, including the 1st round, 2nd round, quarterfinals, semifinals, and the gripping final.
