WANA: Ummah Children Academy held its annual ceremony under the supervision of the Wana Welfare Association (Wawa) in Lower South Waziristan district here on Sunday.The event drew significant attendance, including tribal elders, political leaders, and students.
Humayun Sharif, president of the Private School Association, Lower South Waziristan, was the chief guest for the event, which featured PT shows, tableaus, national songs, and speeches by schoolchildren.
Nasir Javed, the principal of the academy, discussed the achievements of the students, and congratulated those who secured Wawa Talent Scholarships.
Rahmatullah Wazir, president of Wawa, expressed the local community’s respect for the Academy as their institution.
He paid tribute to Maulana Muhammad Idrees and acknowledged his role in establishing the institution. He highlighted the support provided to orphaned children, including free transport, uniforms, boxes, lunch, and dinner.Principal Humayun Sharif emphasised the collective responsibility to nurture a sense of responsibility in the younger generation of Waziristan region.
