Zaka, Wahab inspect camp at Pindi Stadium
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee (MC) chairman Zaka Ashraf and chief selector Wahab Riaz visited Pindi Stadium Friday and met with team members at the camp.
The duo stayed with the team and exchanged words on the team’s preparation for the tough tour ahead. Zaka Ashraf praised Babar Azam for his contribution for Pakistan cricket and staying as No 1 ODI for a considerable period of time.
He also praised Shaheen Afridi’s role saying that he always stood up to the challenge. Mohammad Hafeez was also seen praising Shaeen. Zaka also congratulated Sarfaraz Ahmad ON a successful domestic cricket campaign.
Team manager Naveed Akram Cheema was also present on the occasion. Some ugly scenes were witnessed when around sixty youngsters, invited to meet Pakistan top players were forced to leave the stadium.
