Babar Azam has resigned as captain of the cricket team in all three formats after an inadequate individual and team performance at the cricket world cup in India. Winning or losing is part of the game, what matters is that one plays with the utmost dedication and sincerity. The pressure that comes with being the captain is incomparable to that faced by regular players.
One is not only responsible for their own performance but that of 10 other players. Hence, I think putting all the blame on the captain when the entire team’s performances have not been good is unfair. One can learn from their mistakes and do better in future endeavours.
