ISLAMABAD: Grade 20 officer Sajid Kayani of Police Service of Pakistan, posted in Intelligence Bureau, is likely to be appointed as the new IG Police of Islamabad.
Sajid Kayani has previously served as SSP Operations in Islamabad Police. He has also served as PSO of former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Wasim Ahmed Khan, a Grade 18 officer, is proposed to be appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner, Islamabad. After finalizing the nominations for both posts, the approval of these appointments will be taken from the Election Commission of Pakistan.
