Justice Ayesha advises honing research, writing skills
RAWALPINDI: First female judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan Justice Ayesha A Malik Tuesday emphasised the necessity of developing not only advocacy skills but also honing research and writing capabilities to excel in the legal profession.
Addressing an event hosted at Department of Law, Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi, Justice Ayesha Malik shared her personal and professional journey with an audience of aspiring lawyers and academicians.
Justice Malik’s discussed the challenges she encountered as a woman in a predominantly male-dominated field, underlining the significance of perseverance and determination in achieving one’s goals.
“Never underestimate the power of hard work and dedication,” she advised.“The legal world is demanding, but it is also incredibly rewarding. With the right mindset and determination, you can achieve great things.”
She encouraged them to embrace hard work, integrity, and a commitment to justice as the cornerstones of their success. In her closing remarks, Justice Malik extended her warmest wishes to the new female lawyers entering the legal fraternity, expressing her confidence in their ability to make a significant impact on the profession.
