KHAR: The leaders of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) here on Monday asked the government to take steps to facilitate the repatriation of the 60 young men hailing from Bajaur, who have been languishing in jails in Libya for the last few months.

Speaking at a press conference, PPP leaders Aurangzeb Inqilabi, Malik Saeed-ur-Rahman, Khan Bahadur and others said that a group of 60 young men, who were trying to reach Europe due to unemployment and poverty were arrested in Libya a few months ago and were undergoing imprisonment over there.

Accompanied by families of the men arrested in Libya, the PPP leaders said that a union of the local people were willing to pay for the return ticket and other expenses, asking the government to facilitate their repatriation to Pakistan as their families were going through mental agony.
