Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community, arrived in Karachi on Monday, accompanied by his family members.
Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar, former chief minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Senate Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwala, and members of the Bohra community extended a warm welcome to Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin at the old terminal of the Karachi airport.
The visit, prompted by an invitation from the Pakistani government and the community, marked Dr Saiduddin’s arrival in Karachi from Sri Lanka. Baqar and Shah presented bouquets to express their greetings upon his arrival. Dr Saifuddin, acknowledging the heartfelt welcome, expressed his gratitude to the chief minister and others for the warm reception.
