SUKKUR: As many as 13,000 candidates appeared in the test for 550 seats of MBBS and BDS for the session 2023-2024 at LUMHS, Jamshoro.
The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) for MBBS & BDS (Session 2023-2024) held on Sunday at Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro.
For 550 seats, a total of 13,000 candidates from 13 districts of Sindh, including Hyderabad, Sanghar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Thatta, Sajawal, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar, Umarkot, Jamshoro, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, and Tando Muhammad Khan, appeared in the test.
Vice Chancellor LUMHS Prof. Dr. Ikram Uddin Ujjan visited and supervised the arrangements for the test. The entire campus was kept under tight security to ensure the safety of the candidates.
A medical camp was conducted under the supervision of senior professors to deal with any medical emergency.
