OKARA: Police on Sunday stopped Pakistan Kisan Ittehad (PKI) caravans at City Bypass, which were going to Islamabad to press their demands. The PKI caravans from Sahiwal, Depalpur and Okara gathered at City Bypass to march towards Islamabad to press their demands but police stopped them and did not allow them to go. The PKI caravans were present at City Bypass till the filing of the report. Meanwhile, the PKI leaders asked the police head to confirm their meeting with the prime minister. After the confirmation of meeting, they would postpone their march, they added.
