RAWALPINDI: The Lahore High Court (Rawalpindi bench) has disposed of a petition moved by PTI President and former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi for not being allowed B-class facilities in the prison despite assurance by the Home secretary and the Adiala Jail superintendent. Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan heard the plea.
Advocate Abdul Razzaq Khan represented Elahi during the proceedings, where a report from the Punjab Home secretary and the Adiala Jail superintendent was presented. It was ensured that the former chief minister would receive all B-class facilities and might enjoy homemade food and meetings with his family twice a week.
