LAHORE:LDA has intensified the crackdown against commercialisation fee defaulters on the directions of Commissioner Lahore/LDA DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa. The operation was carried out by LDA teams headed by Chief Town Planner II Azhar Ali. LDA teams took action against a country club for non-payment of commercialisation fees Rs1 billion 41 crore. They sealed the country club situated on 196 kanal at Raiwind Road. Country club has been issued several notices for non-payment of commercial fees before the action. LDA staff also sealed a valley office on Raiwind Road for non-payment of Rs2 crore in respect of commercialisation fee. Notices have also been issued to valley several times.
