Law students briefed on investigation skills
PESHAWAR: A delegation of Frontier Law College Peshawar comprising faculty members and students visited Police School of Investigation, Peshawar.
The director of the school, Arbab Shafiullah, briefed the students about the working of the organisation. He said that use of modern technology had become a must to solve cases.He informed the students about the international skills of modern criminal investigation based on technical and forensic methods of DNA, Geo fencing, mobile phone DRS, finger prints, etc.
The students were shown a mock crime scene and methods of preserving evidence.The founder of the college, Akhtar Ali Khan Advocate, spoke on the laws related to investigation and physical custody of accused persons and jurisdiction of criminal courts.
He thanked the authorities of the Police School of Investigation for facilitating the visit. Akhtar Ali Khan hoped that such interaction would continue in future as well.He said the Frontier Law College was committed to providing all possible education to the students and organized field trips to various organisations.
