Encroachments removed

LAHORE: On the directions of Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, LDA teams conducted a mega operation against encroachments on public utility sites in both illegal and approved housing schemes here Tuesday.

LDA teams demolished the site office, offices and road infrastructure of an illegal housing scheme. Roads and sewerage were demolished, encroachments on the park site and a case was registered against the encroachments. Illegal constructions built on the park site were demolished and a case was registered.

In another housing scheme, encroachments on the cemetery site were demolished, illegal obstacles and barriers were removed.
