Tributes paid to martyred cop
LAHORE:A ceremony was held at the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) Centre to pay tribute to a martyr Sub Inspector of Dera Ghazi Khan on Monday.
During a special ceremony, PSCA Managing Director Muhammad Ahsan Younas, the Operation Commander IC3, heads of all units and other officials lauded the bravery of SI Rizwan Mehboob, who valiantly sacrificed his life in the line of duty during a confrontation with robbers in DG Khan. They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in Paradise. The pictures of the martyr and injured police personnel were flashing on the PSCA monitoring screen. Addressing the ceremony, the MD said officers and officials who sacrifice their lives in the line of duty are true heroes of the nation.
Bike given to owner
The officials of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) responded to an emergency call on 15 from Green Town quickly and recovered a stolen motorcycle and returned it to its owner. The PSCA surveillance team traced the stolen motorcycle from Nishtar Colony and its Lost and Found Centre cross-verified the information.
