FAISALABAD: The Haj Organisers Association Pakistan (HOAP) have rejected the New Haj policy for the year 2016 and decided to challenge it in the High Court and the Supreme Court.
In a statement, Regional HOAP chairman Hafiz Shafique Kashif Thursday said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has hastily approved the policy allegedly without giving any weight to the recommendations of the Standing Committees of the National Assembly and Senate in which these Standing Committees had submitted their recommendations for the new policy.
In these Standing Committees, as much as 20 elected MPs belonging to treasury and opposition had took part in the deliberations and had unanimously approved these recommendations.

He said officials having personal motives and vested interest had provided wrong and highly exaggerated information to the PM whereas the offer of the Private Haj Operators for’ Cheaper Haj Package” was completely ignored without any cogent reason.
