Couples robbed of valuables

DASKA: Three robbers snatched cash and other valuables from a man and his wife in the area of Motra police on Thursday.
The bandits intercepted Basharit Ali and his wife and snatched cash, gold ornaments and a cell phone from them. In another incident, thieves stole the motorcycle of Fahad from his house.
FAKE CHEQUE CASE: Police Thursday booked three people on charges of issuing a fake cheque.
Zia, Akbar Ali and Muhammad Pervaiz told police that they had given Rs 4,100,000 to accused Hanif, Javed and Shahbir and when they demanded the amount they were given a cheque that bounced. Police have registered a case.
DRUG PEDDLERS: Circle police Thursday arrested four alleged drug peddlers.
